![]() Dear Friend: Last night was a very special night for me and my family. It is an honor to have won the primary and be your Republican nominee from the Fifth Congressional District. To the hundreds of volunteers, thousands of contributors and the voters who placed their faith in me at the ballot box, a sincere and humble thank you.Needless to say, I am thrilled with the results of the election, and proud to have received the support of voters who responded to my campaign of faith, family and freedom. The victory we celebrated was the culmination of months of hard work on the part of so many people. It truly was a team effort. We began our campaign last October with a strong grassroots effort comprised of volunteers, contributors and a strategy to bring a positive, issues-oriented message to the voters of the Fifth District. I am proud of our campaign and what we have been able to accomplish. I could not have led the race without the hard work, dedication and commitment from so many people who share our values and our vision for a brighter future for Oklahoma and for America. This campaign has been historic for Oklahoma's Republican Party. It began with six quality candidates vying for this very important seat. All brought unique insight and perspective to the campaign trail and engaged in what was generally a positive effort to promote our conservative message. While a crowded field of good candidates makes for a heated election, it ultimately creates a stronger, more relevant party. As the Republican nominee, I assure you that I will continue to conduct a campaign that you will be proud of. I will not rest on my laurels and will continue to work hard to assure victory in November. Warmest regards, |
