Working Across Oklahoma Tour Off to Huge Success!
The Working Across Oklahoma tour was a huge success in week one! As part of the tour, Mary is rolling up her sleeves and working alongside Oklahomans and doing their jobs in their offices, on the factory floor and out in the field. Mary’s first work stop was teaching a government class at OSU. In Tulsa, she helped cut and sand airplane windows at Nordam and straightened metal piping at Webco. She helped give a sonogram to a pregnant couple and drove a transit bus during work stops in Lawton. In Muskogee, Mary served as a nurse’s aide and tackled the dinner rush as a hostess at Mahylon's BBQ. She ended the week as a ranch hand at the Mayer ranch in Guymon. The tour is giving Mary the opportunity to visit with Oklahoma employers and employees about their concerns and the challenges they face. Oklahoma’s economy will be the top priority for our next governor. In Mary’s administration, she will focus like a laser beam on creating a pro-business environment that will help create greater economic prosperity for Oklahoma families.
